Parc du Champs de Mars, 24.5 hectares, the one of the largest parks in Paris. Spreads from theSeine river to the Ecole Militaire, the foremost military academy in France. Located in 7 th arrondissement, there’s no gates surrounding it. The Eiffel Tower standing on the river side of the park.

It used for growing vineyards and vegetables in 16 th cemtury. The military used the large field for the battle training in 18 th century. The park gets its name “Mars”, the Roman god of war.
